Heat Pumps Technology

Elementary Know-How for Elemental Energy

Earth, groundwater and air contain an enormous amount of energy and yield them free of charge and in practically unlimited amounts. This »elemental energy« can be harnessed with the help of heat pump technology.

WEIS INDUSTRIES® Service Solutions GmbH: Heat Pumps Technology

•  Heat from the Earth. Geothermal probes or collectors

•  Heat from the Air.
Indoor or outdoor installation

•  Heat from Groundwater

The initial costs of heat pump technology are a little higher than those of condensing boiler technology, but the equipment will pay for itself within a few short years.

Just ask us. We will be happy to determine if our heat pump technology is a viable alternative heating solution for you.

Functional principle: The refrigerant evaporates (1) and condenses (2). The energy is transferred through the heat exchanger (3), and the refrigerant is reverted to its original state in the expansion valve (4).

The Principle of Efficiency:
A refrigerant circulates in a closed loop, extracting heat from its environment and thus making it usable as an energy source.
Since this heat alone is not strong enough for heating purposes, a compressor in the heat pump condenses the refrigerant until a suitably high temperature is reached.

Effektive Advantage:
In summer, this energy source can also be used for cooling and refrigeration. How refreshing!
